The Property

Built For Inclusivity & Accessibility

Accessible Sunset Vacation Founder Troy Danner has enjoyed this beautiful property for over 50 years. Twenty years ago, Troys parents started building this home. During that process, Troy had a snowmobiling accident, which left him paralyzed from T8. They were determined to ensure Troy could continue enjoying the great outdoors.

They made modifications, including adding ramps, lifts, and broader doorways so Troy could move around the house quickly.

One year ago, Troy purchased the home and set out to share it with others who need truly accessible vacations. Troy added his own touches to the property, such as a hot tub and hydraulic lift, so that Troy and his friends could relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the house.

Troy has always been passionate about making the house a place where everyone can enjoy the great outdoors, regardless of physical abilities. Troy's home has become a refuge where people can come and relax without worrying about accessibility or any other barriers.

Troy's family has always been proud of him for his determination and resilience in adversity. They are thrilled he has positively impacted others by sharing his beautiful home with the world.

From Our Friends

"As a wheelchair user, I often find it challenging to plan and enjoy vacations, but this organization made it all possible. Not only did I get to relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets, but I also learned so much about accessible vacationing. The volunteers were knowledgeable and supportive, and I was able to participate in various activities like 4-wheeling and kayaking. Accessible Sunset Vacations truly understands how to make vacations inclusive and enjoyable for everyone, and I can't wait to go back. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!"

"I had the opportunity to volunteer at Accessible Sunset Vacations, and I was so thankful for the accommodations they had in place. As someone who uses crutches, having access to an elevator made my experience so much smoother and more enjoyable. I was able to navigate the facilities with ease, and it allowed me to fully participate in the activities and events. It's truly inspiring to see an organization that values accessibility, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with such a thoughtful and considerate group."
